All: Just started to configure various user accounts. Does the server need a restart in order for new accounts to be recognized? Also, I would recommend the default privileges to be none or read at best. New accounts should not be able to write to the DB by default. best *P

user password command

As an admin, I would like to be able to change a user password. The password command however does not seem to support an account name. Could the command be extended to support two paramaters (i.e "password jdoe secret" ) Or is there another way to do this? best *P

declare function local:add($x){ $x+1 }; let $b:=local:add return $b(4) Produces [XPTY0004] Variable(...): no empty sequence allowed. Have I got the syntax wrong, or is this a bug? /Andy

context for util:eval

I notice Basex has a util:eval function similar to the eXist db one<http://demo.exist-db.org/exist/functions/util/eval>however it is not clear for the BaseX version what the inherited context, if any, is. The example on the eXist site: let $a := "Hello" return util:eval("$a") Fails with an undefined variable $a with BaseX 7.0.1 /Andy
