REST documentation - bug?

Hello, the documentation ( https://docs.basex.org/wiki/REST ) contains an example applying a query via REST to a complete database: http://localhost:8080/rest/database?query=count(.) (My understanding is that "database" should be replaced with the name of a database.) However, the URL yields an error ("Document is empty"). At any rate, the documentation should be explicit about the evaluation context of REST calls with parameter "query" or "run". If the resource identified by the URL is a single document, the context item is fairly obvious. However, in case of a database or a database collection, the evaluation context is not obvious. Hi Ben, My recommended solution (albeit a bit static) is to generate a new XML document that contains attributes or elements with the relevant data, create a database from it, and open the plot for that database. DBA: upload of database backups

Hi, Since around 9.7 the DBA has an option to upload backup zip files. However it appears the backups are uploaded to data/.dba rather than data/ so can not be restored via the DBA UI. Select proper database for Plot Widget

I like having a convenient inline plotting for data, but I can't figure out how to select the right database to query from for the BaseX GUI plot widget. I can only select X and Y values from what I think is the country database. Best Regards, Ben Pracht 919.809.2439 ben.pracht(a)gmail.com

Plot visualization of unstructured data

Hello Everyone, I'm quite new to all of this but I am trying to setup a database in XML for logging some process data and I am planning to use baseX for polling Xqueries. While testing BaseX i was also amazed by the visualization functions, I have however a doubt on plot which can be easily explained looking at the screenshot at this link <https://photos.app.goo.gl/P2kETJLZoxWBhFHe8> In the data tree you can see I have two branches which present both the attributes @BE_T and @stress_as_grown. In the plot nonetheless only the point corresponding to the values of the first branch is shown. At the contrary, the explorer window present both pairs of values. Is there any way I can plot all the occurences of the selected attrubutes and not just the first one occurring?. Thanks for your help, Best regards, -- Lucas
