just a quick note to confirm the setup:

macOS: 15.0.1

JDK: OpenJDK Runtime Environment Temurin-21.0.1+12 (build 21.0.1+12-LTS)

I’m running BaseX 11.4 (via brew.sh) and tested with the latest snapshot, currently 11.5 Beta / 2630897.

Pasting with the external variables dialog behaves as expected here.

As for macOS 15.1 beta—I haven’t quite mustered the courage to give that a go just yet. 😊

Let's wait for someone using MacOS as well, I am sure some of the BaseX
developers use it (not sure of course if they are already on 15.1).
