while this seems like a desirable feature, it's difficult to realize
because the client/server architecture does not support any
intermittent progress feedback, and such a extension would lead too
many open questions reg. all other client-based interfaces.
If you use the standalone mode of the BaseX command-line client,
however, you will get some progress information by turning on the -d
flag. I guess you figured this out anyway..
