1. don't see the adaptive mode as default.

Where would you like, or expect, to see it?

2. The serialized output for function is minimal, moreover close to none. Since I use closure-functions for all of my internal datastructures, some more information would be very welcome, see attachment for an example.

I invited you to create a new bug in the W3 issue tracker. You can refer to the original entry [1] and indicate how you like the output to be extended.
