[basex-talk] S1000D XML Database

I am completely new to basex so forgive me please for asking something that has been asked before. Can anyone share any knowledge about the use of basex to manage S1000D XML content? Specifically, I'm interested in it's use as an offline xml database manager for a large collection of S1000D data modules: 100k or more perhaps 5GB of data uncompressed.

Any comments or thoughts or tips are greatly welcomed and appreciated.
