     XQConnection con = ds.getConnection();
     String query = "<hello-world>{1 + 1}</hello-world>";
     XQPreparedExpression expr = con.prepareExpression(query);
     XQSequence result = expr.executeQuery();

using their datasource. Cannot BaseX do something similar?
