[basex-talk] detection of external variables

Hi,

I am looking for a way to determine for a module what external variables are defined. Neither inspect:module [1] or inspect:xqdoc seem to return this information.

I wonder if adding an *external *attribute to the inspect:module o/p for variables (and functions?) would be a solution. e.g. <variable name="samples:test-string" uri="http://basex.org/modules/samples" type="xs:string" *external="true"*> <description>This is a sample string.</description> </variable>
