I would assume he refers to the fact that the ft index is not used in searches of text across several nodes, or, related, that BaseX does not support the "ignore" option of the W3C recommendation (http://docs.basex.org/wiki/Full-Text#Mixed_Content).

I am also interested in this, but I have managed with workarounds so far...
