Hello,
The environment that I am using BaseX GUI in is on a Virtual Workstation that is shared by multiple users. I am finding that my preferences end up being global and any user of BaseX on this workstation seems to be using the preferences that I have defined.
Is it possible to install BaseX onto a multi-user workstation so that we each have our own config and repositories and keep our own data private?
Thanks.
Cec Tarasoff.
Dear Cec,
I still know too little about your network configuration. I guess you have some Windows directories that are shared, and some others that are private, and you would like to have one BaseX installation, but all BaseX data (configuration files, repositories, database) stored in a private directory? What are the directory paths where you would like to have your user data stored? Maybe symbolic links [1] could help you here.
Best, Christian
