Hello. I've found that all the URLs for rpm-based repositories listed at http://basex.org/products/download/all-downloads/ are broken. For example, http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/basex:/opensuse/CentOS_7/hom... URL returns "Object not found!" error.
Hi Jacob,
Thanks for the info. I have removed the links to the rpm files, because they haven’t been updated by us, or someone else, for quite a while now.
Cheers, Christian

Hi Christian. Got it. It's sad that it happened. Are there any guides describing correct way to upgrade a BaseX installation to the latest version? I'm using CentOS 7 and the BaseX was installed from these repos. Thanks.

Hi Jacob,
I have just looked up an internal guide, which describes the steps to build the RPMs, and I will be happy to pass it on to you via personal mail.
The entry page is https://build.opensuse.org. It have tried twice to visit the page, but it always returns 503 (Service Unavailable). Maybe you are more successful than me?
Looking forward to your feedback, Christian

Hi, Christian. Thanks for the document. As can I see, OpenSUSE infrastructure has been faced with a risk of compromise, therefore all of the affected services were temporarily disabled in order to prevent possible damage, see details here: https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-announce/2017-05/msg00000.html That's why we've got the error page at https://build.opensuse.org/
One important thing is that the announce recommends changing the passwords for affected services' user accounts, so I suppose you may want to do this and then update the document.
For my part, I'll try to make a build when the service comes back to work.
Best regards, Jacob

Jacob, thanks for letting me know. I will update the password as soon as the service is available again. If you manage to log in before us, feel free to choose (…and let us know ;) a different password.
