Hello, I am Denir. Wikipedia.org recently by the Native XML Database description that BaseX, so download and test, I think this is the most convenient for the Native XML Database software! However, there are two questions to ask:

1. In Development Page inside the Examples, "XQJ API Example -> XQJQuery" not like "XML: DB API Examples -> XMLDBQuery" can access to the remote server native XML database, can only access the XML file in Project, is XQJQuery unable to reach it? Is there any way to do so?

2. My operating system is Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, when I use "java-Xmx1024m-jar BaseX.jar" to start the GUI when not display properly, the picture will become this http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/1v51MX1lr01TassYOA6_Ow?feat=directlink , so I do not know what can fix it.
