unfortunately that's currently not supported as the DeepFS code overrides the system-wide setting for chopping whitespace.
As i'm not involved in DeepFS myself you'll have to wait for someone from that team to state if and why that's still wanted.

Sorry for the late reply. I removed the offending line from the current version in our repository. Please report back if you encounter further trouble.
