No actual migration was required once I had the .jar switched over recently, the existing location is picked up from the previous config files in the home directory which also get updated with the "new" config variables.

Good to know the db is self contained.

hi I want to upgrade from 8.6.5 to 8.6.6. How do i migrate the data? do i just copy over the Basex\data folder?
