The Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) at the
Mannheim Research
Institute for the Economics of Aging (MEA), University of Mannheim, is
looking for a
Senior Researcher (TV-L E14)
to supervise the research department "Survey Management".
Applicants should hold a doctorate in economics or social sciences and
have a strong
background in social research, preferably in health or labour economics,
and survey
methodology. Practical experience in conducting a large-scale survey is
desirable. We expect
general project management skills, a sound knowledge of quantitative
methods for the analysis
of complex data, fluency in English and a good working knowledge of
German. The
appointment is for an initial period of 2 years.
