The European Sociological Association's Research Network on "Quantitative Methods" (ESA RN21) and the European Society of Criminology working group on "Quantitative Methods in Criminology" (EQMC) invite proposals for sessions in the conference
"Modes, Measurement, Modelling:
Achieving Equivalence in Quantitative Research"
in Mannheim, Germany, 24.-25. October 2014, hosted by Gesis - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences.
We especially encourage submissions on research regarding comparability and equivalence between survey modes, measurement techniques, cultures, time, modelling approaches, research designs, and data analysis techniques in the Social Sciences. Successful session proposals would ideally deal with methodological questions or with substantive issues in a comparative perspective. We also encourage submissions on recent developments in data collection and analysis.
Please email your session proposals to henning.best(a)gesis.org
