FDZ Bildung und ZIS kooperieren: Jetzt noch mehr Messinstrumente finden

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, erfolgreiche empirische Forschung benötigt geeignete Erhebungsinstrumente zur Erfassung sozialwissenschaftlicher oder psychologischer Merkmale. Bereits erprobte Erhebungsinstrumente sind jedoch oft verstreut und schlecht zu finden. Beim FDZ Bildung<https://www.fdz-bildung.de/> (DIPF) und bei ZIS<https://zis.gesis.org/> (GESIS) können Sie nach Instrumenten der Sozialwissenschaften bzw. der Bildungsforschung recherchieren und diese kostenfrei für nichtkommerzielle Zwecke nachnutzen. Neu ist jetzt, dass beide Instrumentenbanken über eine gemeinsame Suche zusammengeführt wurden und damit eine komfortable Recherche über die gesamte Bandbreite sozial- und bildungswissenschaftlicher Erhebungsinstrumente wie Items, Skalen und Indizes möglich machen. Ab sofort erhalten Forschende bei ihrer Recherche in einer der Datenbanken auch Ergebnisse aus der jeweils anderen angezeigt. Der kostenfreie Open-Access-Service ZIS von GESIS – Leibniz-Institut für Sozialwissenschaften stellt validierte Erhebungsinstrumente für die Forschung zu verschiedenen Themen (z. B. Arbeit, Politik, Persönlichkeit) für Forschende in den Sozialwissenschaften bereit. Das FDZ Bildung des DIPF | Leibniz-Instituts für Bildungsforschung und Bildungsinformation archiviert quantitative Erhebungsinstrumente aus abgeschlossenen Forschungsprojekten im Bildungsbereich und macht sie damit für Forschende nachnutzbar. Die Instrumente des FDZ Bildung und von ZIS erhalten einen eigenen DOI und sind dadurch zitierbar. Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, ab Mai 2020 oder zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt habe ich eine Position zur wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeit (65%, TV-L 13) in dem DFG-geförderten Projekt „Religion, Religiosität und die sozial-identifikative Integration muslimischer Jugendlicher“ zu besetzen. Die Stelle ist am Mannheimer Zentrum für Europäische Sozialforschung (MZES) angesiedelt und vorläufig bis November 2022 befristet. Das Projekt untersucht die soziale und identifikative Integration jugendlicher Muslime anhand mittels Netzwerkmethoden, Gruppendiskussionen und Surveyexperimenten.
