am Kurs zu "Laboratory Experiments" im GESIS Spring Seminar kann man nun auch online teilnehmen - der Kurs findet hybrid vom 24.-28. März statt. Es sind noch einige Plätze frei.
Florian Heine (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) wird erläutern, wie Laborexperimente in den Sozial- und Verhaltenswissenschaften zur Testung von Theorien und kausalen Mechanismen genutzt werden können - vom experimentellen Design über die Durchführung bis hin zu Auswertung und Ergebnisdarstellung.
Zur Programmierung der Experimente wird in das kostenfreie Programm zTree eingeführt, die Übungen zur Datenanalyse können von den Teilnehmer*innen in Stata oder R bearbeitet werden.

There are still places available for the GESIS Spring Seminar 2025! The Spring Seminar will take place from 17 March to 04 April 2025-with two courses onsite at GESIS Cologne, Germany, and one course in hybrid format, where participants can choose between onsite and online participation.
The Spring Seminar offers high-quality training in state-of-the-art quantitative data analysis techniques, taught by leading experts in the field. It is designed for advanced graduate or PhD students, post-docs, and both junior and senior researchers. In 2025, all courses will deal with Experimental Designs in the Social and Behavioral Sciences. Extensive hands-on exercises and tutorials complement lectures in each course.
