The Summer School will be held from 4 - 26 August at GESIS Cologne, Germany. 21 courses are scheduled, among them 4 short courses and 17 one-week courses. New to the program are a course on traditional and cognitive methods to pretest and evaluate survey questions, a course on how to ask sensitive questions to get valid answers, a course on mathematical tools survey researchers need, and preparatory short courses on the software packages Mplus and Stata. In addition to courses, we have prepared a number of plenary and social events including weekly welcome receptions, cultural and social trips as well as evening talks by experts in Survey Methodology.
There is no registration deadline, but in order to secure a place in the course of your choice and to book affordable accommodation, we recommend that you register as soon as possible. If you book and pay for a course by 30 April, you will receive a 50 Euro discount off the one-week course fees.
