Im Fokus dieser Reihe stehen Angebote der Abteilung „Survey Data Curation“ und damit Angebote, die Umfragedatensätze erweitern, indem sie diese mit anderen Datentypen verbinden oder über Umfrage-Wellen und Länder kumulieren. Dies umfasst Vorträge zur Verbindung von Umfragen mit Geodaten (Geocoder-Software und eine Anwendung mit der GLES) oder mit expertenkodierten Daten, eine Anwendung des kumulierten ALLBUS und das Eurobarometer mit seinen Erweiterungen.

Nach einer Einführung zu dem jeweiligen Thema stehen Ihnen unsere Expert*innen jeweils für Fragen und Diskussion zur Verfügung.

This “Meet-the-Experts” series will present a range of GESIS services provided by the department “Survey Data Curation”. We will exhibit services that augment surveys by linking them with other data types or by harmonising across survey waves and countries. Topics include linking with geospatial data (a geocoder package and an application using GLES), linking with expert-coded data, an application of the cumulated ALLBUS, and the Eurobarometer and its extensions.
