we invite you to join us for the upcoming GESIS Panel.dbd Insight Days, a two-day in-person workshop taking place on February 23–24, 2026, at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Scienceshttps://www.gesis.org in Mannheim. The workshop introduces researchers to the GESIS Panel.dbd Digital Behavioral Data Sample, a new data infrastructure that combines web tracking datahttps://www.gesis.org/angebot/studien-planen-und-daten-erheben/erhebung/gesis-web-tracking (URLs, HTMLs, timestamps) with longitudinal panel survey data (approx. 6 waves per year) and provides researchers in the social sciences with the opportunity to field their own studies. The goal of the workshop is to help participants understand what's possible with these data and how to successfully design studies within the framework of the GESIS Panel.dbd.
Participants will:
* Learn about the structure and potential of the GESIS Panel.dbd data * Work on their own research ideas with expert input * Get access to an exclusive post-workshop Call for Study Proposals, This workshop is aimed at researchers in the social sciences and related fields. No prior experience with web tracking data is required. Participation is free of charge.
