The ParGram BSCW workspace

Dear colleagues, The ParGram workspace at ling.uib.no/bscw is going to be closed down. The server will be closed down at July 1st, and we have not been able to find a new platform for the BSCW server at the University of Bergen. I will archive the workspace and send the files to whoever wants them. We will look into possible alternative solutions for the future. ParGram prep

Hi ParGrammarians, The organising committee at Udayana University, particularly Pak Arya, Adi and Seri, have been doing an ace job making sure everything is ready for us, and they've asked me to give you some details about the meeting. 1. PRESENTATIONS The room is fitted with a projector, or if you have handouts you can ask Seri (kmserimalini(a)yahoo.com) to print them for you. I'm happy to upload your presentations/handout onto the Bergen site if you send them to me. 2. INTERNET CONNECTION Wi-fi will be available for us. Login information will be supplied on the first day of the meeting. 3. PRINTER There will be a printer available for us to use. 4. TRANSPORT We will all be picked up at the lobby of our respective hotels. Pick-up time depends on your hotel: Ari Putri Hotel: 8.45am Inna Bali Denpasar: 8.45am Paradise Plaza Hotel: 9:00am Puri Maharani Boutique Hotel: 8:30am Sanur Beach Hotel: 8:45 Because there are not many of us, instead of hiring a shuttle bus, they have opted to do the pick up with cars, so please don't look for a bus. 5. MEALS Coffee/tea is served in the morning at 9:30, and will be available throughout the day. Refreshments also provided (cookies and fruit). A lunch box will be provided during the lunch break. (If you have any strict dietary requirements, please let Pak Wayan or me know.) 6. SCHEDULE A slight change to the first day of the schedule: the Direktur Pacasarjana Udayana Univesity will give us a welcome talk (15 mins), so we will have coffee at 9:30, and the director will talk 9:45-10:00. 7. ParGram DINNER ParGram dinner will be on the last day (Tuesday, 26th of June), Rumah Makan Cianjur, Renon-Denpasar.(Time and means of travel t.b.a) 7. DINNER at Pak Wayan's You are also invited to have dinner at Wayan’s Place in Darmasaba Village 13 kms north of Denpasar on Sunday, 24th of June. (Time and means of travel t.b.a) I will make the assumption that all ParGrammarians will be attending both functions, unless you tell me otherwise. Hi all, Here is the schedule for Bali ParGram. If you had forgotten to let us know that you were presenting, it's not too late. Just email me and I'll put it in the schedule. There will be a shuttle service to Universitas Udayana from a few locations in Sanur. See this map for the *tentative* pick up points: http://goo.gl/maps/1VKv (it says LFG and ICAL but it also applies to ParGram). Sorry the names/headings of the "Pick Up Points" on the map aren't informative. Please just read the text below the headings, and you'll discover which hotel you'll have to wait in front of. Cheers!
