Hi Ron and John, hi all,
I've written a small grammar with an s:: projection from the f-structure. Parsing works as expected, and so does regeneration as long as I don't add or remove features. However, my ultimate goal is to generate from s-structures, so I've manually reduced some files resulting from parsing to just the respective s-structures and tried generating from those. Even though I've made all f-structure features addable, generation fails. (And so does regeneration when I make that same list of features removable and addable.) Am I trying something that the generator isn't made for (yet)?
Thanks,
Martin

Dear All,
I would like to ask you for help with running transfer on XLE for
linux – while it is possible to run transfer on MacOS using this XLE
distribution: xle-intelmac-2009-09-18.tar.gz, I could not get transfer
running using the 64-bit linux counterpart of this version:
xle-linux2.3-64-2009-09-18.tar.gz. The linux package can be obtained
from Konstanz redmine
(https://typo.uni-konstanz.de/redmine/projects/xle/dmsf?folder_id=1).
Is there anyone who can run transfer using
xle-linux2.3-64-2009-09-18.tar.gz? I have no problem running XLE
itself. However, when I try to run transfer like this (as described in
http://ling.uni-konstanz.de/pages/xle/doc/walkthrough.html#Transfer_Walkthr…;
I am attaching the relevant files for convenience):
% create-transfer
% create-parser demo-eng.lfg
% load-transfer-rules demo-eng-xfr.pl
I get the following error (after load-transfer-rules):
% ERROR: No Sicstus Prolog for this platform.
% Transfer system couldn't reload rules.
I would be very grateful for your help.
Best regards,
Agnieszka
