Hello Everyone,
Not a big deal but can’t paste into the external variable dialog box. I have a script that has several external variables (urls) which are long so I paste them in the dialog box in the GUI (Basex-11.4). Anybody else experiencing this? Thanks for your time —Brian

Pasting into the external variable value field works fine for me with 11.4 under Windows and Java 11 Microsoft OpenJDK.

I can paste into the editor but not the external variable box or the the find box. It must be my setup. I’ll just run them from the command line. Thanks for you time —Brian
Hi Brian, Have you tried using ctl-v to paste? /Andy

Let's wait for someone using MacOS as well, I am sure some of the BaseX developers use it (not sure of course if they are already on 15.1).

Hi,
just a quick note to confirm the setup:
macOS: 15.0.1 JDK: OpenJDK Runtime Environment Temurin-21.0.1+12 (build 21.0.1+12-LTS) I’m running BaseX 11.4 (via brew.sh) and tested with the latest snapshot, currently 11.5 Beta / 2630897.
Pasting with the external variables dialog behaves as expected here.
As for macOS 15.1 beta—I haven’t quite mustered the courage to give that a go just yet. 😊
Best Michael
