Hi everybody,
I hope you are healthy and maybe even already vaccinated.
While editing the HPSG handbook we worked hard on the bibliography. We consolidate references. We filtered out duplicates and checked all remaining entries. There are 2651 hand-checked BibTeX items by now. 224 pages in a PDF. We filled in missing information like series and number or number of journal articles. We added DOIs wherever possible. Added first names of authors, fixed editors and book titles. Added editors to proceedings (they deserve some credit).
The result is a bibliography of HPSG work and surrounding research areas and I hope the result is worth the work we put into it. We plan to release the resource as BibTeX and maybe zotero items.
The PDF in its current version can be annotated here:
https://paperhive.org/documents/items/2gsE_y5NrBvw
It would be great if you could check the PDF for your items or whichever items you find interesting.
The PDF and preliminary bibtex items are also available on github:
https://github.com/langsci/hpsg-handbook-bib
I will announce a first finalized version as soon as it is ready.
If you comment on paperhive, your comments will be fed directly in our bug-tracking system.
But I am also happy to get comments by email.
If you are interested in the Handbook itself, you find the prepublished papers on the LangSci page:
https://langsci-press.org/catalog/book/259
Papers in draft stage are here and will be (pre)published soon:
https://hpsg.hu-berlin.de/Projects/HPSG-handbook/
You may also check the reference chapterwise.
Donald Knuth offered 1 Dollar for every bug people found in TeX. I wouldn't go that far, but I hope that there are not many mistakes in the bib left.
Best wishes
Stefan
